Pamela Donehew

Pam Donehew began her education in Ocean County NJ where she earned an Associate of Arts honors degree in Philosophy.  She continued her education at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ where she earned a B. A. in English and in Psychology.
She then attained an MA in Education and an MS in Reading Specialty.  Pam has a vast teaching background spanning Kindergarten through college, and has taught courses in English, psychology, reading, critical thinking and creative writing.  She has been a teacher trainer and consultant for schools, school boards, and colleges in several states.  Pam authored a text, Library Literacy, which was required reading at the college level.  Most recently Pam was teacher of the year and aided her school in acheiving a 20% increase on their state writing scores.

Hellen Harvey


Hellen Harvey grew up in Toronto, Canada. She was educated at the University of Toronto and received an Honors B.A. in English with a minor in Psychology followed by a B.Ed. in elementary and high school English. She taught in Ontario schools for next 19 years, teaching grades 3-8. Hellen also trained as a media specialist in a unique program called “Partners in Action” and worked in school libraries for 6 years. In Florida, she worked in public and private schools, teaching gifted, remedial reading, English and film study.
She has been a department head, conference organizer, teacher trainer and workshop presenter. Hellen has received over $10 000 in grants to deliver innovative and media-related programs to her students. She is also National Board Certified in middle and high school English.
